Setting Students up for Success

Thanks to your generous support, we had another incredible year of serving all MVLA students.

The MVLA High School Foundation believes in setting every student up for success by funding programs that impact their journey—from reduced class sizes in Freshman English and math to summer college boot camps, college fairs, and personalized guidance for seniors from our College and Career Counselors.
Your contributions support the framework our students need to grow and thrive.
Now in its third year of Foundation funding, the Career Technical Education (CTE) program has expanded to provide 19 pathways across MVLA schools. Success looks different for every student, and we are committed to investing in programs that meet a wide range of needs and aspirations.

We are deeply grateful for our community’s ongoing, unwavering support of educational excellence for our students. Together, we have been able to fund programs that truly make a difference, and we look forward to partnering with you for another successful year ahead.

With gratitude,
Archana Upadhyay, MVLA High School Foundation President

" We now have blouses and skirts for the region of Sinaloa so that ALL dancers can be outfitted for each region, including props for each state. With the expansion of our costumes showing the variety and beauty of the regions, our students are excited to get involved in the community, school rallies, performances, and activities."

CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION
In 2022, the Foundation funded a special grant to revitalize and expand Career Technical Education (CTE) in the MVLA High School District. CTE courses are designed for students who are interested in learning about different career opportunities while they earn high school credits.
